Lucas van Yperen

My name is Lucas van Yperen. As a general physiotherapist I help people with all kinds of problems. My main interest is sport and orthopaedics, with an extra focus on shoulder and knee problems. With my background in athletics and my love for the gym, I know how important it is to move well and without pain.
In my treatments I always look further than the problem itself. I use techniques like dry needling, pressure point and release techniques, mobilisations, medical taping, connective tissue techniques and training to get to the core of the problem.
My approach is personal, goal-oriented and always keeps the bigger picture in mind. Together we work on recovery and on preventing the problem from coming back.
These are some of the treatment techniques I use:
– Dry needling
– Mobilisation techniques
– Medical taping
– Fascia techniques
– Release techniques
– Active rehabilitation
– Sports-related and orthopaedic problems
Hope to see you soon!
The complex puzzle of the human body

Because the complex puzzle of the human body takes a bit of time to solve. A physiotherapy session normally lasts 25 minutes. In our view, it’s not enough to tackle only the limited movement and/or the pain. For lasting results, lifestyle patterns or a proper analysis of your sports load also need to be mapped out. And there has to be room for that during the session!
At FysioGrow in Rijswijk, that room is there. Because we take 50 minutes for you, we can get more done in each session. That keeps the total number of sessions down. After 5 sessions we always take stock. But if you’re done sooner, we stop before then, of course!
Zorgkaart Nederland

I’m really happy with the treatment of my back, neck and shoulder problems. Everything was explained clearly, from what the problem was to what I could do myself in terms of exercises and what effect each exercise would have on my back and shoulders. Everything was done in a very professional and friendly way.
